Bonito
Bonito are in the Tuna family and are by far one of the most exciting fish to target on spinning or fly gear. Often referred to as False Albacore or Little Tunny these fish can be identified by the spots on their bellies and the black wavy stripes found on their beautiful blue and silver backs.
Bonito travel in massive schools often covering an acre or more of water. The surface activity that is created when these fish begin feeding is incredible and when a lucky angler finds one of these speedy fish on the end of their lines they better hold on as these fish can easily pull off 100 yards of line in the blink of an eye.
