Capt. Domenico Schianodicola (Dom)

Captain Domenico Schianodicola is a first generation American-Italian born in Levittown, Pennsylvania.  Since moving to Florida in 1995 as a young child, he has been fortunate enough to travel back-and-forth to Italy numerous times, taking in the culture and enjoying his Italian heritage. As a first generation American-Italian, Capt. Dom has been fortunate enough to establish strong fishing roots here along the Nature Coast all while learning the ways of a true culinary chef in the kitchen.  His father, grandfather, and two uncles were all Italian fishing captains in the past before coming to the United States and establishing their own restaurant businesses. While growing up in the family restaurant business was the norm for Capt. Dom his true passion has always been on the water where he and his father spent their off time together fishing off docks, beaches, bridges, piers, causeways, and even puddles looking for a bite.  Basically anywhere a fish could possibly live Capt. Dom and his dad would venture. Over the past few years Capt. Dom has spent countless hours on the water learning and loving the Nature Coast for its fishing opportunities.  At the start of 2021 during the Pandemic Capt. Dom decided to take on a new career path in-order to pursue his fishing passion of becoming a world-class fishing captain.
