WOW! Talk about a HOT Bite!!! |

The Nature Coast of Florida is experiencing some fantastic weather at the moment as the Gulf of America remains remarkably quiet and free of tropical disturbances. Fingers crossed this pattern continues! Thankfully most of the late summer weather entertainment a.k.a “thunderstorms” have been holding off into the evening hours. Those evening thunderstorms have been the catalyst to some extremely pleasant rain cooled mornings as of late. Catching a summer sunrise in Florida during a low humidity morning is tough to beat.
With changes in weather patterns imminent as the fall months approach, anglers fishing out of Crystal River and Homosassa can expect some fantastic days out on the water with many anglers catching bucket list species or even better “Personal Bests.” Redfish, Black Drum, Snook, Tarpon and Gag Grouper (until September 30th) are all top targets for the foreseeable future.
